Angela Nardi-Addesa Assumes Role of OPSOA President for 2020-2021
Members of the Ontario Public Supervisory Officers’ Association (OPSOA) are pleased to announce that Angela Nardi-Addesa, System Superintendent, Special Education and Inclusion, Toronto District School Board (TDSB), has been elected as 2020-2021 OPSOA President.
In describing What OPSOA Means to Me, Angela says, “I am privileged to be a Superintendent of public education that champions equity and inclusion to support student achievement and well-being. I am honoured to have been elected as President of the Ontario Public Supervisory Officers’ Association for 2020-2021 and look forward to working to further enhance leadership capacity, strengthen membership engagement and represent the voices of our senior leaders across the province.”
Over the course of her career, Ms. Nardi-Addesa has worked in a number of school boards and is currently a Superintendent of Education with the TDSB – both a Learning Network Superintendent and System Superintendent with responsibility for Special Education and Inclusion. She is a committed member of the OPSOA Board of Directors having served in a number of roles: Metro Regional Director, Co-Chair of the OPSOA Conference Committee with a focus on Equity, Anti-Oppression and Anti-Racism, Co-Chair of the Professional Learning Committee and member of a subcommittee of the Ontario Institute for Educational Leadership.
